The LED is on it's way!!!

This is the led strips I am going to be using! I had a very hard time of choosing which model to buy! There is a lot of factors about installing lighting on ur pedalboard. Things like : overheating, weight, how to power the lights, water proof or no water proof, and the weight of the power supply.
The power supply is very heavy! I'm still working my way around it. I bought waterproof LED lights so it solved that problem. I did a lot of research on the over heating which was my biggest fear because I don't want my pedalboard burning on stage during a worship service!!! The good news is that these LEDs don't produce radiation. Thus no over heating. Thus no pedalboard burning on stage!

Case for pedal board

I will use this for my case of my pedalboard once it is finish! I got it cheap online for $50!! Normally flight cases cost around $100-300 for a case like this.
This case is a 29"x15", so it is bigger that what my pedalboard is going to be. The reason why I got it bigger was because I am also going to customize it myself! The thinner part (the one leaning aganist the table) is going to be where the pedalboard will stay. I want it like that so I can just undo the latches and take the other piece (the one on the ground) and take it off like a cover
I am also going to install some cushion to take up space. I found some cheap online for about $10. I might not buy it because I might just have someone that will just give me some cushion foamy stuff for free!!!!!!

What my set up will be

The standard pedalboard

The little "box look" shapes are pedals. They give you the effect. I learned how you arrange them is very important

Ideas of the board

The begining

Why do eletric guitarist sound the way they sound? Its not just the guitar and amp themselves. On my project I am going to introduce the PEDALBOARD! I am going to learn how to make my guitar sound like different famous poeple like Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughn through my board. I am going to dive in the guitar effects world, and learn from the real stuff from the fake stuff.  I am going to explore other types on tone that my board can produce. At the end of my project I am going to make a pedalborad from scratch and present it to the class.
